Safety Analysis (GLP)

KCL has been recognized as a body conforming Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, the Ministry of Environment, and the Rural Development Administration, and performs safety assessment on medicines, cosmetics, health supplements, chemical substances and agricultural chemicals

General/Special Toxicity Testing

This is the most basic toxicity test where the test material is injected once or repeatedly to identify its impact on all organs

  • single-dose toxicokinetic testing
  • multiple dose toxicokinetic testing
  • Antigen Test (anaphylaxis, skin sensitization)
  • Local toxicity test (skin/eye irritation)

Inhalation Toxicity Testing

Testing the biological effect of inhalable materials (e.g. gas, vapor, dust, mist, fume, smoke, nanoparticle) by exposing them to the respiratory organ of animal

  • Acute inhalation toxicity testing
  • Subacute inhalation toxicity testing
  • Sub-chronic inhalation toxicity testing

Genotoxicity Testing

Testing the biological effect of inhalable materials (e.g. gas, vapor, dust, mist, fume, smoke, nanoparticle) by exposing them to the respiratory organ of animal

  • Reverse mutation test
  • In vitro chromosome aberration test
  • In vivo micronucleus testing
  • Chromosome abnormality testing using spermatogonia

Ecotoxicity Testing

Ecotoxicity test and evaluation is conducted to identify the biological impact of chemicals, pesticides and pharmaceuticals on freshwater organisms (e.g. fish, daphnia, algae) and provides information about the impact on aquatic ecosystems.

  • Acute toxicity testing using fishes
  • Acute toxicity testing using daphnia
  • Testing of the negative impact on growth using freshwater algae
  • Hydrolysis test based on pH level
  • Absorption/desorption testing using the batch equilibrium method
  • Biodegradation testing
  • Bio-accumulation testing
