Overview
Sound Environment Testing & Assessment
- Floor impact noise and buffer materials: On-site and qualification testing of floor impact noise, and testing and assessment of the reduction in floor impact sound from floor surface finishing material as well as the property of resilient material
- Sound absorption/diffusion and sound intensity: Assessment of sound absorption/diffusion performance of indoor finishing material, measurement of acoustic power level of noise source using a reverberation chamber or anechoic chamber, assessment of sound absorption/insulation performance using impedance tubes, testing of procurement and Korea Standard
- Indoor sound quality and design: Assessment and consulting on acoustic performance in indoor space(reverberation time, etc.) based on international standards
- Sound insulation/sound-proof panel: Testing and assessment of airborne sound insulation performance of drywall, windows, and other installations, quality testing of sound absorption/insulation performance of soundproof panel, assessment of noise reduction performance of roofing and walls, testing of procurement and Korea Standard
- Environment noise and vibration: On-site testing including testing of noise from water supply and drainage in bathrooms, construction site, and noise and vibration process
- Road noise: Proximity noise measurement(CPX, OBSI), passing noise measurement(SPB, CPB, equivalent noise levels), road surface sound absorption testing, testing of road surface and tire labeling
- Railroads: Testing of ride comfort and driving safety, testing of vibration reduction achieved by vibration damping paint and wheel damping ring
- Standard impact sources: Testing and assessment of impact levels and suitability of standard floor impact sources(light, heavy)
Construction Materials
- Testing and assessment of basic civil engineering materials such as soil, rock, blended aggregate, geosynthetics, and landfill liner, etc.
- Testing and assessment of road paving materials such as special additives for reform, rejuvenators, and asphalt concrete mixtures
- Testing and assessment of bearing capacity of piles and the ground used in construction and civil engineering structures
- Testing and assessment of cement, concrete, and admixtures
- Testing of performance of water permeation, water retentivity, and water evapotranspiration of green infrastructure
Waterproofing & Repair Materials
- Testing and assessment of waterproofing materials, root barrier materials, sealant, repair mortar, grout material, crack repair material, ozone-resistance coatings
- Testing and assessment of floor material for parking lots, tile cement, anti-freeze agents, and curing compounds
Testing & Assessment of Earthquake Safety Products
- Testing of mechanical performance and durability of earthquake-resistant products used in construction
- Testing of base-isolation/earthquake resistant bearings used in bridges in accordance with domestic and international standards
- Testing of seismic isolation/vibration controls used in construction and special structures

Testing & Assessment of Road and Transportation Infrastructure
- Testing and assessment of road delineators(pavement marker)
- Testing and assessment of skid proof pavement and coating film type floor materials
- Testing and assessment of durability and visibility under various conditions including rainfall, and mobile measurement of pavement markings(lanes, etc.)
- On-site testing and assessment of skid proof attributes of roads
Anti-theft/Crime Prevention Construction Materials
- Assessment of intrusion resistance performance of windows, doors, shutters, anti-theft bars, and window screens at major break-in points
- Testing and assessment of crime prevention performance of security glasses, security films, door locks, and other hardware
Testing & Assessment of Structural Safety and Impact Absorption Products
- Bridge attachment: Testing and assessment of expansion joint, durability of friction materials, snubbers, and properties of shock transmission units
- Port fenders: Testing and assessment of compression performance, energy absorption, durability under fatigue
- Structural members and systems: Testing and assessment of bending performance of lining boards, performance and durability of anchoring devices and couplers for steel strands, structural performance of synthetic members, performance of temporary equipment and materials
